A friend of mine came to visit me in Shanghai, so brought him to shop around.

Yesterday went to this place called the Shanghai Outlet, located at Zhaoxiang (赵巷), along A9 highway. The place really looks like the outlets I have been to in UK & Chicago. They are divided into 3 area (A, B & C), where there are international & local brands available, ranging from clothes for children & adults, as well as home used.

International brands include Lacoste, Nine West, Nike, Miss Sixty, Levis, Armani, Burberry, Bally, Hugo Boss, etc.

At first we were so excitied to go there, you know outlets usually full of cheap branded clothes. Even its outdated, yet its really worth buying & shop around. However we were really disappointed once we visited the 1st shop Armani, we found the price wasn’t we expected, it was still expensive, maybe just 30% lower than the original price sell in the shopping mall. But the price is higher compared to Singapore ones, so we guess its because of the 17% VAT. Products made in China, yet more expensive than products exported to Singapore. hmmm…really cannot figure out.

In the end I got 2 jackets (Local Brand) for my kids, 1 Nike T-shirt & lingerie.

So conclusion is don’t go there!! So expensive. However if you are really interested to know the location, below is the address:

The other day I read an article from the magazine while waiting for my husband in hair salon, the latest, hottest weight-loss diet in Japan is EATING CABBAGE!

So to proof it, I went online & do a little bit of research.

In HowStuffWorks, it mentioned ” Cabbage also offers a major payoff — the fewest calories and least fat of any vegetable. This powerful veggie is a must for dieters trying to lose weight.”
 

Anyway, there is this doctor attended one of the TV program in Japan & explain here secret of weight-loss.

• Before dinner, have to eat 1/6 of a cabbage everyday
• To have the best effect, eat it raw or with some lemon juice
• If not use to raw cabbage, just microwave it for 2 mins
• In order to have a balance diet, everyday has to take in 70g of Soya Bean/Fish/Eggs/Meat, for rice & noodles, take as little as possible
• Best consume oil would be sesame oil & olive oil

The magazine also accompanied with a 7 day weight-loss meal course.

 The 7 days Cabbage Weight-Loss Diet (Confirm can loss 10 pounds within a week)

Day 1: Cabbage soup + Fruits (Except Banana)

Day 2: Cabbage soup + Raw or Steam Vegetables

Day 3: Cabbage soup +Fruits + Raw or Steam Vegetables (All you can eat)

Day 4: Cabbage soup + Skim Milk+ 3 Bananas (Must drink alot of water)

Day 5: Cabbage soup + Meat + 6 Tomato

Day 6: Cabbage soup + Beef + Vegetables (No potatoes)

Day 7: Cabbage soup + Brown Rice + Vegetables + Fruits

How to cook the Cabbage Soup?

Ingredients: Cabbage (200g), Onion (100g), Tomato (100g), Celery (100g)

Seasoning: 500cc of stock & some salt to taste

Methods: Cut all ingredients to cube, put everything into a pot with seasoning. Boil it for 15 mins & its done.

Then I also found this recipes online at AboutCabbageSoupDiet.com, however the preparation of the cabbage soup is different. So you can choose & see which one you preferred.

Something I should remind, I haven’t tried this diet yet, hence I’m not too sure whether will it work. Please bare in mind, having a sexy & perfect figure is everyone’s dream, but health is more important, exercise more & eat healthy. If you really like to try it, you can give it a go & challenge it. World Largest Cabbage in US, it weighs about 41kg!!

Today is really a beautiful sunny day, especially last few days it has been wet & cold. So went for a walk at the park near my house, then I realised the roses outside my apartment’s lobby have fully blossom, they look so sweet & lovely.

I’m always fascinated with flowers, & its really my weak point. I still remember my ex-boyfriend use to buy me flowers whether he makes me angry, Hahaha..it works, I forgave & forgotten what happen.

Anyway, took some photos of these pink ladies.

I also took some of the photos at park near my house, where my apartment is facing a very lovely man-made lake.

I’m staying in one of the blocks..

After leaving the home (Singapore) for so long, PC & I miss alot of food back home. But its so hard to find at subburb, we usually travel down to the city to give a treat ourselves. But travel down to city takes us about 1 hour, so we usually cook ourselves instead. Today we tried one of the curry paste I bought in Singapore.

We put chicken wing, cabbage, potatoes, carrots, & PC’s favourite “dao po”!

At that moment, I felt I’m back home again…so miss them..

The other day I was talking about the clothes which bought it at FOND located in Parkway Parade. I was searching through the website to see if they have a official website, but too bad can’t download the photos from their official website. So I decided to parade it out myself, before that I’ll like to talk a little facts about this brand.

FOND is actually a Singapore brand fashion wear, which they are not just selling clothes, they sell bags, accessories, shoes, belts & men’s wear as well. Most of their clothes need to be hand washed, don’t need to dry clean. Their price is quite expensive, but I think is worth it cause is very comfortable & stylish. OH..they have lots of accessories as well, love them all!

Currently, they have 5 outlets in Singapore - Great World City, Novena Square, Suntec City, Parkway Parade & Tampines Mall. Please take note the outlet at Great World City has closed for renovation from 23rd Feb - 28th March.

This was the 1st one I’ve spotted, like the prints on the top & also the collar area.

This one was recommended by the sales girl, like the feel of it when I was looking at the mirror.

For this top there are 2 choices, one is this, the other was orange+brown color (can’t remember, but something like that). But my sister say I will look old if wear the orange one, so I tried this. Usually I don’t like to buy clothes that has belts around the wrist as I’m always worry that my little tummy will be seen. However, after trying, it turns out OK! See can see my “S” figure…hhahaa..

This top is suppose to wear it with a dirty green pants, which I was too lazy to change it, so wear it with the black pants. hmmm…it didn’t look so matching.

 My sister insist that I should wear this during her graduation, but I don’t feel its appropriate to this, its so casual. But the sales lady mention this can be wore to high class gathering. Hmm…

Yesterday I was looking through my photo album in Friendster, found a photo which was taken during my Uni years.

I had this Tattoo done during my 1st year of Uni, it was quite a trend among the Asian community in our Uni. So I decided to give it a shot. Its a letter “S” representing my name Stacey. At first I was quite worried that my mum can’t accept it, so I kept it secretly, try not to show it out when wearing low hips jeans. However, to my surprise my mum was alright with it, & started to ask me alot of question about tattoo, as she so keen to have one at her breast. Ha! Surprise..Surprise..Surprise..

Back to Shanghai again! Yap, it was only a short trip back to Singapore. Actually I wanted to stay longer, but due to workload, I can’t extend my stay. Luckily for me as well, as there is so many things that needs to be settled, if I have stayed longer my boss will kill me! Ha! (Just kidding), my boss treats me very well.

This trip I only manage to meet up with some of my Uni Girlfriends, had a dinner with them & celebrate my guy friend’s birthday (which he said wasn’t his birthday party, it was his colleague. ) Anyway, advance birthday for him!

It was really a shopping spree for me, took my younger sister to buy stuff, then ended up I bought a digital camera, 2 outfits for summer. The next day went shopping with my mum, to buy coffee, curry paste, blar blar blar..cause I can’t find good ones in Shanghai. I usually go back with a empty luggage but comes back with all sorts of food, clothes, shoes, its like any moment the luggage is going to burst. I bought a few nice outfits from Parkway Parade, below is one of the outfit.

I bought the whole outfit at GG>5, like the color of the top, & the pants really make me feel so Slim! Ha! My sister was complaining about the price, she finds it too expensive. To me its worth it especially when I know the size I’m wearing is “S” for pants. Really haven’t heard that for a year, wearing a Size “S” pants for me was like a dream which might not be fulfilled. Yet, GG>5 makes my dreams come true. Seriously speaking their cutting really can show a lady’s best figure.

Did you realise something different about me? hahaha…I had a hair extension! My husband was really cute, he asked me:

PC: *keep staring* Darling was your previous hair so long? (He was really confuse how come my hair became so long).

ME: What you think? If I tell you I went to this salon which has a special chemical & I put on my head, then stand into a room which has a special light that can speed up my hair grown process, would you believe?

PC: *Eyes Popping out any moment* REALLY! You serious? WOW..

See how cute my husband is.. So the moral of the story is my husband really trusted what I told him, that’s the reason why I always like to make fun of him. *Wicked little Stacey*

A closer look at my new hairstyle..

My mum was saying the length of the hair was too long & it doesn’t suits me, well, I guess its still alright.

My sister wasn’t use to my new hairstyle, they say I look like those Ghost acting in the Chinese Movies. *Fainted*

This hair extension was done in NK Works, which I didn’t know my house nearby has one of their branch, so went to Queensway to do it. My god, half an hrs drive, plus I lost my way, so took me about an hour to reach. The process took about 2 hours for the extension & coloring about 1.5hrs. But the color wasn’t that matching with my real hair, so the next day I went to the one near my house. At least now the color difference is not that obvious. Taking care of the hair wasn’t that easy, I can’t wash the hair the way I like, I have to be extra careful & blow dry before I sleep. If I’m careful enough, I’m about to maintain it about 4 months or even more. So lets see how long I can sustain until.

That day went to POP classroom to catch-up with my 2 dearest 助教, caused one of them going back the next day.

On our way to the dining place, we saw someone selling CJ7 soft toy, so cute. So Jia Yun 助教 bought 3 of them, each one of us has one.

They love taking photos, see they pose soooo…well.

We are their new mums now! Poor kids, they were staying in the cold before we bought them over at RMB20 each.

Hmmm…*Headache*

Last week I tried to change my theme, but ended up don’t know what reason, my webpage don’t show up & kept showing “Error 404-Page not Found”! *Heart Attack~My goodness…what have I done*. I tried to fix it through out the weekend, but nothing can be done. So today I asked my friend, Andrew to help, it did showed up but without the theme. Anyway, Andrew thanks for helping. Suddenly I remember ServerFreak.com, I started messaging “him” through MSN (ServerFreak.com will add you in if you become their member). Finally they fixed it for me, it was because I didn’t update my database thats why it can’t show up. How Silly am I! Ha!

Last week my dad specially brought a fountain artist over to do a Feng Shui Water Fountain, my dad is always so supersitious. Anyway the artist is a very old man, he is already 60+years old but has a grace look.

This is his smallest artwork, the largest he had done is in Malaysia, which is really like a real cave. That took him 4 months to finish it, this one only took him about 5 days to complete.

Making this fountain was as easier as it seems, this is the 4th time the fountain was re-made.

1st time was a pre-made, we just bought it & put it facing the main receiption door. But my dad said “No…No..the direction of water has to flow facing the middle of the door!” So Fountain Re-do!

2nd time was custom made, but the quality wasn’t that good so re-do the 3rd time. Still my dad was satisfied, so RE-DO!

Hopefully, this time round will grant a pass.
