Latest Weight-Loss Diet in Japan

The other day I read an article from the magazine while waiting for my husband in hair salon, the latest, hottest weight-loss diet in Japan is EATING CABBAGE!

So to proof it, I went online & do a little bit of research.

In HowStuffWorks, it mentioned Cabbage also offers a major payoff — the fewest calories and least fat of any vegetable. This powerful veggie is a must for dieters trying to lose weight.”
 

Anyway, there is this doctor attended one of the TV program in Japan & explain here secret of weight-loss.

  • Before dinner, have to eat 1/6 of a cabbage everyday
  • To have the best effect, eat it raw or with some lemon juice
  • If not use to raw cabbage, just microwave it for 2 mins
  • In order to have a balance diet, everyday has to take in 70g of Soya Bean/Fish/Eggs/Meat, for rice & noodles, take as little as possible
  • Best consume oil would be sesame oil & olive oil

The magazine also accompanied with a 7 day weight-loss meal course.

 The 7 days Cabbage Weight-Loss Diet (Confirm can loss 10 pounds within a week)

Day 1: Cabbage soup + Fruits (Except Banana)

Day 2: Cabbage soup + Raw or Steam Vegetables

Day 3: Cabbage soup +Fruits + Raw or Steam Vegetables (All you can eat)

Day 4: Cabbage soup + Skim Milk+ 3 Bananas (Must drink alot of water)

Day 5: Cabbage soup + Meat + 6 Tomato

Day 6: Cabbage soup + Beef + Vegetables (No potatoes)

Day 7: Cabbage soup + Brown Rice + Vegetables + Fruits

How to cook the Cabbage Soup?

Ingredients: Cabbage (200g), Onion (100g), Tomato (100g), Celery (100g)

Seasoning: 500cc of stock & some salt to taste

Methods: Cut all ingredients to cube, put everything into a pot with seasoning. Boil it for 15 mins & its done.

Then I also found this recipes online at AboutCabbageSoupDiet.com, however the preparation of the cabbage soup is different. So you can choose & see which one you preferred.

Something I should remind, I haven’t tried this diet yet, hence I’m not too sure whether will it work. Please bare in mind, having a sexy & perfect figure is everyone’s dream, but health is more important, exercise more & eat healthy. If you really like to try it, you can give it a go & challenge it.     I don’t think you need make a study in weigh loss, because you already have an expert around you, just go and consult him about this topic and the answer should be very simple and convincing. Goh~~~
