Last week specially went downtown to try Wang Steak, another steak house owned by a Taiwanese.

Well, the set meals are relatively more expensive compared to Tasty, it cost us about RMB218 per set meal (haven’t include service charge). The number of courses are the same with Tasty, from Soup, bread, salad, main course, then dessert. Below are what we have taken

Very sinful dessert…when you cut the chocolate pudding, the liquid coco will flow out, that’s why its call Chocolate Lava. The white scoop is ice-cream.

Overall, I still prefer Tasty, in terms of price & food quality, I find they are better! Anyway, no harm trying.

A good news to share, I finally pick up my babysitter today after several consideration.

Well she is actually out of my budget, but really no choice, no one has confidence to take care of twin. There was another agency introduce me to one, but I find this A-yi not that honest, coz she is still working with her current employee, yet secretly find another job. hmmm…although she taken care of twin before, but I cannot take her dishonesty. What if one day she do that to me as well. So I rejected!

*Cross my fingers*, hope my current babysitter can pass the 7-Days trial period. Coz she has the right to choose whether she wants to do the job anot.

Last week was really a busy week, trying to clear off the piles & piles of work. Coz I’m going back Malaysia this Friday!! YEeaappp! So happy can see my kids again!

Hmmm…but seems like the work keep piling…how am I going to finish! Help..Help..Help..

Luckily got my new A-yi to help me clean up the house…hahhaa..more concentration on work, less worries for the preparation of the house for my babies. She is really nice & friendly, her name is called Xiao Lei.

So what needs to be done by this week:

1) Go Ikea get new furniture

2) Apply for paper testing for China Driving License

3) Get a New House phone

4) Find Hourly part time house keeper

5) Help A-yi set up baby room

6) Pay Rental

7) Help my cousin find Mobile battery for iPhone

My goodness…so many things to do!!

Anyway, tomorrow will blog about another steak house I went to yesterday.

Today was really a hell day for me! I was working like a bee since morning, settling this, settling that, resolving this, resolving that, calling here, calling there. I was busy until I didn’t have appetite to eat my breakfast; my steam meat bun! I also didn’t have time to have a slip of my 3in1 Nescafe instant coffee! Plus these few days I wasn’t feeling quite well too, am I pregnant? Better not be!! *Crossing my fingers*

Last night didn’t have a good night sleep, my brain was working very actively, thinking how to train my new maid (In China call A-yi), what should I inform her about? How to teach her? Should we go to supermarket straight-away?blar…blar…blar… so many many things running in my head, so I was tossing from this end of the bed to the other end of the bed! Can’t remember what time I entered into my dreams.

Anyway, I was suppose to pick up my A-yi today at 2pm, due to heavy workload, I gave a call to the agency to postpone it to 4pm. The lady was fine with it. So about 3.30pm, I have managed to finished up my work & getting ready to go. Happily, I hop up into a taxi, ready to pick up my princess’s babysitter. I called the agency to inform her that I will be abit late, then she started say “Sorry, the A-yi can’t accept this job offer, as she is worried she can’t handle 2 kids well!”

My goodness…suddenly I felt the volcano within me was going explode (Maybe lack of sleep, so very heaty). I was really very angry, why the agency don’t have the courtesy to give me a call earlier! I mean yesterday the A-yi was ok, she said not a problem, the next day everything change, cannot take care of my kids?? My kids isn’t so hard to take care! She don’t even have to do the house chores, & she can’t even take care! Suddenly I remembered, cannot judge a book by its cover! I thought the aunt will be able to do it, she look so kind & caring, well people may not be what I have thought he or she is.

Ok fine, I immediately blacklisted this agency, so started looking for another agency. Then I realise, if I really want a good babysitter to teach my kids when I’m not around, I really need to find a real solid one. Not just only feed them & change diapers, I need to find one which can sing with them, teach them what is wrong & right on-behalf of me.

So I decided to call those professional agency located in the city to find some real solid ones! Although the price is higher, but I think its worth it. After all, I just want my kids to have the best.

Praying real hard that I can find one within this week & she can start working next week, right before I go back Malaysia.

Today went to watch Andy Lau & Maggie Q’s latest movie “Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon”.

In this movie, there are alot of familiar Hong Kong actors. Overall I find this movie still alright, like the visual effects & acting as well. Andy Lau really improves alot & I think he is more suitable to act this kind of classic chinese war movie than those police action movies. For Maggie Q, she only appears at the last part of the movie. Its quite a pity, cause I think she is quite suitable for dressing up in those ancient clothes at that era. However, I think the director should go into more details, cause I find the story is too short, there are certain characters in the Three Kingdom wasn’t mentioned in the movie.

Story of the Movie:

Based on “Romance of the Three Kingdoms”, one of China’s four greatest classical novels, and set during A.D. 190 - 280, the darkest period in Chinese history during which the country was torn asunder by civil war and eventually divided between three rival kingdoms, “Three Kingdoms - Resurrection of the Dragon” tells the story of a common-man, ZHAO ZILONG, who fights for his country’s unity and peace and rises on wings of courage and battle prowess to become a hero known throughout China.

Though Zhao has fought & won many battles and his heroism has become a legend, yet after years of battle, the war still rages on. Now in his later years, the valiant warrior struggles in leading his troops to win his last and toughest battle, in which he fights the enemy - from outside and within.

Time flies real fast, my twin girls going to be 1 year old soon. I’m so keen to see them, I think its has been 2 months I haven’t seen them. Due to work, my mother-in-law helped to take care of my girls since baby in Malaysia. They are reaching one soon, plus I really miss them alot, PC & I decided to bring them over to Shanghai end of this month. I’m starting to count down the days I’m going to see them.

First of all I should admit that I’m really addicted to online shopping, & its pretty serious! Ha!

A friend gave me a link to Gymboree yesterday & I’m totally obsessed with it! Because once I click the link, this photo shows up at the front page for Baby Girl Clothing.

I mean its always the style that I dreamt to dress my girls into, so the night was busy browsing through the web site, especially the column which has the word “SALES”!!!

Gymboree is a US brand that sells children clothes, I find they are relatively cheaper than those selling in the shop, especially in the Sales section.

For all the WAHS…OOOO…HMMMM….These are the clothes I have bought

Don’t they look lovely!! hahha…I really enjoy shopping clothes for my kids, they are so lovely until I wish to buy all the outfits. Love the colors, so bright & colorful! Sob…sob..I think my budget for my clothes has to be shift to my kids!!

Last week I suddenly have the urge of having a juicy steak, so called my colleague to accompany me to have it near my house. But he said the one near my house not good enough, so we specially travelled 1 hour to the city area, Xu Jia Hui (徐家汇) & visited one of the popular steak house in Shanghai - they call themselves TASTY !

TASTY is originated from Taiwan, where they are well-known for their affordable & tasty steak dinner sets. They really serves the full course & in Shanghai, it only costs RMB98!!

Despite the meal is so cheap, their atmosphere, decoration & table display doesn’t lose to any steak house restaurant, they are so neat & tidy, comfortable & romantic as well.

Anyway, I was too shy to walk around taking photos, so just took a few shots of the surrounding from where I’m sitting.

I love those crystal bead curtains, wish to have one & put it in my bedroom~

Lets see what we have ordered. So for the Antipasto, we have 2 options to choose:

Italian Beef pancake OR Baked Mushrooms with Garlic and Cheese + Toasts

So we each order one to try.

This is Italian Beef Pancake! Well nothing fantastic about this dish, taste like pizza to me with a little spicy for the meat.

This is Baked Mushrooms with Garlic and Cheese + Toasts. I didn’t take the toast bread cause my colleague was too hungry so he just grab the bread & stuff it into his mouth straight away. Actually the toast is suppose to eat it with this sauce. For myself I preferred this, the taste of the garlic & cheese blends very well, with a few slices of fresh mushroom. Yum..Yum…I highly recommend this for the starter to warm your stomach.

This is Sliced Raw Beef with Special Sauce. This is really the best salad I had so far! The thin slice raw beef is really like just taken out from the freezer, its so solid yet so tender. Once I put it into my mouth, my goodness it really melts & I can taste the freshness of it. I highly recommend to those who can eat beef raw.

This is the Sashimi with Fresh Salad. The sashimi taste fresh except that they only gave about 4 ~5 slices of it. I think it is suitable for people who will like something light for salad.

This is the French Snail Soup! Taste really good & creamy..yum..yum…but I find abit too spicy, I think the chef has over-put the black pepper.

The restaurant is really very generous, the size of the steak is really big, I can’t even finish it. My colleague has to try to squeeze it into his stomach. *He keeps adjusting his pant* hahhaa..

The 5th Course will be DESSERT! At that moment, I can feel my stomach is going to burst if I take in 2 teaspoon of the dessert! *Kidding*

This is Caramel Pumpkin Pudding! My colleague had this, I didn’t try it coz I want to keep my small little space in the stomach to eat my Black Forest Mousse Cake.

My God! So much Whip Cream!! Love the cup, its so cute & huggable.

Well, the whole dinner took us 2 hours to finish. I considered pretty fast, but we have to, as we need to catch a train back to our place. Overall I’m really satisfied with the dinner, although have to trave 1 hour to downtown, but I guess its worth it, especially after a day of hard work, we should give ourselves a treat.

Recently I’m totally in love with THEFACESHOP skin care products. I came across this brand was a few days ago I went Xujiahui for window shopping, then passed by this shop, being attracted with the display with their products. So went in to take alook, the sales girls made me feel welcome as well.

I started telling her the problem I’m facing with my skin; actually my skin was really dry, nothing works for me, especially after I apply my foundation, my face look even dryer.

Its really like water, it doesn’t really clean off my mascara well, have to clean harder.
