My Style of Life
Chinese Style of Starbucks

Finally got out from the “Oven”, coz the air-condition in my office finally got fix. The weather in Shanghai is terribly hot, its not those normal hot in Malaysia or Singapore, here is dry & hot, I can feel my skin burn if I stand under the sun for 5 minutes. I hate summer in Shanghai, the heat just makes me feeling irritated.

These few days were busy with meetings, one after the other. So at the end of the day, I can feel energy totally drain out. Hence I usually look grumpy at the end of the day, keep nagging my husband carelessness driving. Still one thing I’m really looking forward to is going back Singapore for my vacation! I so miss the food, people & shopping! This time round bring my kids along with my husband, so excited!

I manage to get really good deal from Singapore airlines, only CYN2000 for 1 adult ticket but then the tax & surcharge was really expensive, cost me CYN1090, my goodness. The oil price increase really makes a very big impact on our lives.

One of our way of saving our electricity bills is to go somewhere that serves drinks & air-condition. Our usual hangout place is Starbucks, but their opening hours only till 10pm. So we spot another good place, not drinking coffee, instead a place for good tea & small bites – Qian Tang Cha Ren 钱堂茶人.

The one located near our house is the sub-branch, its main one is located in Suzhou, its where this brand was originated. I can still remember the 1st time I came across this shop was in Suzhou, like the atmosphere, very ancient design, bricks, wood cavings, small man made bridge with fish ponds. Their tea is quite pricy, coz they have included the buffets, which serve nuts, desserts, fruits, small bits.  With the soft music & smooth lighting, its really a nice to place to relax & calm your soul.

^ PC trying to act “yan tao” in front of the camera!

^ Some bites that I have picked.

^ This is really very eye catching whenever I come here.
